Yesterday, the twins identified every nerve in my body and them played them like harp strings. They stomped on my attempts to placate them, laughed as I struggled for patience, screamed when I tried to convince them to take a much-needed nap. They ran rampant all through the afternoon, screaming and tugging and needing and crying and OH MY GOD I swear I was a heartbeat away from shipping them off to military preschool. By the end of the day, we were all a bit worn out.

I've felt that way myself. I guess some days are like that. I hope today is better for you.

There are always going to be days like that, and all 4 of you will survive.
It's nice to have a place to vent, though.

Just want to mention that that is the least-temporary temporary tattoo I have ever seen. I think Evie will go off to college with Thomas on her forearm.

I hate those days. But, what a sweet ending! :D

Military preschool? They have that? Because, yeah, I'm totally interested. Mine have been doing exactly the same thing. Is it some sort of strange vibe going through the cosmos? Or did all the mom's before us just leave this part out in interest of continuing the human race?

I bet that sweetie was hardcore in her attempts, what with that badass Thomas tattoo and all, but how sweet when sleep settles in! Hope you all got refreshed!

When one of my nieces was five, she had one of those days AND one of the nights. I hear she had her parents up all night long, kicking and crying, and biting, and running around the house. Finally, she slept an hour or two, she went to her mother, stroked her hair, and said, "Mommy, did you have a nice rest?"

So much to look forward to!
