We met up with Jill, gamer and catalog editor extraordinaire, for a delightful lunching experience.

On the way out, the twins were very nearly beaked to death by feral geese.

I won't tell you the name of the fancy-schmancy housewares and furniture corporate headquarters where we dined, but I'll give you a hint: their products come in crates, and sometimes barrels.

Oh to be able to fall into a blissful nap at the first motion of the car. Trust me, I would do it now if I could!
Actually, I just want to nap!
Oh, and I had lunch out today with a kid who napped on the way there. Only we had lunch where a giant rodent serves as the mascot and they give away trash when you turn in your hard earned tickets. So I'm sufficiently beat and a little jealous!
I used to drive around just to get them to take a nap...luckily I have a garage and could leave them resting while I got some things done.
Eek! How will I ever figure out where you were? I'll be up all night pondering! ;)
My youngest is the same way. Won't sleep until we're in the car getting ready to go somewhere important. Saturday he fell asleep on the way to his soccer game. Luckily he loves soccer and as soon as we whispered near his ear, "We're at soccer" he sprang to life.
Can't wait to hear what lunch was like. Oo ooo the catalogs from Boxes & Casks drive me insane! I love 'em! Thank god we don't have a store near here.
When Martin and I finally start our million-dollar business idea (a baby kennel where you can drop off your baby for a few hours/a few days/a few weeks/a few years -- picture the hospital nursery), we will add a special service called "Baby's Taxi." We'll come up pick up your kids and drive them around while they sleep. Wouldn't that be awesome? Imagine how much you'd get done while they were gone. Ahhhhh.
I am sooo jealous.
