Great find! I love the whole animalistic side of the women shown, too. Oh, they're more than just T&A -- they're sex animals with T&A, by golly!

I totally thought it was a bogus clip set to expose the makers of Dove of doublespeak, I was very surprised that they made the ad. I don't really think that is the right way to bring about change, but what do I know. (I know, I'm tired and incoherent, heehee)

This just goes to show you can't trust television ads to raise your kids up right. How confusing...

Spooky spokesperson statement award goes to this lady: "Each brand effort is tailored to reflect the unique interests and needs of its audience." Well, exactly. They want us to buy stuff. If making us feel bad about ourselves makes us buy stuff, they'll make us feel bad. If making us feel good about ourselves makes us buy stuff, they'll do that too.

Unilever makes Slim Fast, too. Just in case you aren't convinced by the Campaign for Real Beauty...

I think the most important thing is to talk to kids about advertising. You can prohibit them from watching tv to a point, but at some point they have to learn how to critically think about what they are being taught.

GRRR.
